The parade has two themes this year:  A Cookeville Storybook Christmasand R.E.D. – Remembering Everyone Deployed– in particular the 278th Armored Calvary Regiment.  First National Bank, the overall parade sponsor this year, has chosen to honor members of the 278th and their families by making them honorary Grand Marshalls. There will be prizes for the best parade entry and candy will be passed out, not thrown, throughout the parade route.

WCTE’s Becky Magura, Avery Hutchins and Brent Clark will be hosting the live broadcast from the northwest corner of the courthouse, as the parade makes its way down Washington Avenue and turns onto Broad Street at the courthouse square. The trio is excited to host one of the community’s most beloved events.
