‘One on One with Becky Magura’ to feature Martha Teichner

COOKEVILLE – WCTE PBS will broadcast “One on One with Becky Magura” featuring Martha Teichner, a CBS Sunday Morning correspondent and multi-Emmy-Award-winning journalist, on Thursday, March 18 at 8:30 p.m. 

Teichner has been a correspondent for “CBS Sunday Morning” almost 30 years, where she’s equally adept at covering major national and international breaking news stories as she is handling in-depth cultural and arts topics. Teichner is the author of the upcoming nonfiction book “When Harry Met Minnie,” that was recently published by Celadon.

“’One on One with Becky Magura’ featuring Martha Teichner is Becky’s first virtual ‘One on One’ in all of its 10 seasons,” said Brent Clark, director of content & digital media of WCTE PBS. “This is an exciting episode when Becky speaks to Martha about her career in journalism and becoming an author of a memoir of love and loss, of being in the right place at the right time and of the mysterious ways a beloved pet can bring people together.”

“One on One” is hosted by Becky Magura, CEO and president of WCTE PBS. The 30-minute show includes engaging interviews by fascinating guests sharing their captivating stories from the heart of Central Tennessee and beyond. The show explores many different versions of success and the unique people who are apart of those successes. Magura uses the show to dive deep into her guest’s stories in a way that gives the viewer a distinctive interview, that can only be see, by watching “One on One.” The show airs Thursdays at 8:30 pm.
