Morrison –Warren Arts Presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a classic comedy of love and error in the woods that is the first locally produced Shakespeare production in nearly 30 years. Show times and ticket information here.

Sept. 27 – Oct. 5

Woodbury – The Arts Center of Cannon County presents Clue: The Musical, based on the board game Clue. The plot concerns a murder at a mansion, occupied by several suspects, that is solved by a detective; the ending is determined by cards drawn by audience members that select the murderer, murder weapon and location of the murder. Show times and ticket information here.

Sept. 27 – Oct. 5

Cookeville – Shakespeare in the Park features two different plays this year: Cymbeline and Anthony and Cleopatra. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Dates and Times available here.

Cookeville – Enjoy the Smoky Nights Live at Char from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Cookeville – Red Silo presents Soul Fish from7 – 10 p.m. 

Cookeville – 37 Cedar presents Billy Mac LIVE from 9 p.m. to midnight. 

Crossville – Mother Legacy performs live “In the House” 6-8 p.m. during the singer-songwriter show at GrinderHouse Coffee Shop

Celina – The Cumberland Run Cruise-In begins at 3 p.m. on the courthouse square. 

Cookeville – Come out to Heavenly Host Lutheran Church for Oktoberfest 2019 from 1 – 5 p.m. In the German Lutheran tradition, Oktoberfest 2019 will feature brats, sauerkraut, and other traditional German fare, such as yummy pretzels, and Calfkiller beer.

Cookeville – Visit the Annual Fall Festival and Tractor Show at the Hyder-Burks Pavilion from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with games, tractors, engines, scooters, motorcycles, cars, trucks, kiddy tractor pull, swap-meet / flea market, and who knows what else.

Cookeville – Red Silo presents Indus from8 – 10 p.m. 

Cookeville –The Smoky Nights LIVE @ 37 Cedar

Crossville – Come out to the Crossville Memorial Airport from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the annual Crossville Fly-In and Open House, featuring civilian and military aircraft on display and kid friendly events.  Bring your lawn chairs, it will be a fun time for the whole family.

Jamestown – The Pub welcomes Jeff Crouch taking the stage at 8 p.m.

Oct. 3-5

Clay, Overton & Pickett counties – The Rollercoaster Yard Sale is rural America’s 150 mile region wide yard sale that has something for everyone. The map is available at this link.

Cookeville – Oktoberfest 2019 at Jig Head Brewing Company will have live music, food, games, contests, giveaways, and of course our well-loved Golden Oktoberfest, Hafenmeister.

Jamestown – The Pub welcomes Junction South taking the stage at 8 p.m.

Allardt – Come up for the world famous Allardt Pumpkin Festival and don’t miss The Lovers Live from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Baxter – Come stuff your own scarecrow at Hopes Happy Harvest at the Twin Oak Community Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with other free activities corn hole , bounce houses, roasting, marshmallows by the fire, yard checkers and even bobbing for apples. 

Cookeville – Red Silo presents Indus from8 – 10 p.m. 

Gainesboro – Gainesboro will celebrate the unveiling of the Jamie Dailey: Tennessee Music Pathways sign at 1 p.m. with music and activities until 8 p.m.

Granville – Enjoy the Granville Fall Festival from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Enjoy jazz on the Cumberland, Quilt Show, Arts and Craftsmen Trail, Pioneer Village craftsmen demonstrating crafts of yesteryear, antique car museum, Sutton Homestead tours, Scarecrow Festival opening, vendors, Granville Paddle and Board River cruise, and more.

Cookeville – The Bryan Symphony Orchestra kicks of itssubscription concert seasonExperience two different composers’ takes on Henrik Ibsen’s 1867 play, Peer Gynt, along with Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, a timeless masterwork for orchestra.

Celina – Clay County Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off on the square in Celina.

Cookeville – The Cookeville History Museum presents “Cookeville Crazy Quilters: Still Crazy About Quilts After 30 Years,” a showcase of quilting in the area with live demonstrations on Saturdays throughout the show. Show runs from Sept. 7 to Oct. 26.

Crossville – Don’t Dress For Dinner– Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his chic Parisian mistress in his charming converted French farmhouse, whilst his wife, Jacqueline, is away. He has arranged for a cordon bleu cook to prepare gourmet delights, and has invited his best friend, Robert, along too to provide the alibi. It’s foolproof; what could possibly go wrong? Well…. suppose Robert turns up not realizing quite why he has been invited. Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers, and consequently determined that Jacqueline will NOT leave for the weekend. Suppose the cook has to pretend to be the mistress and the mistress is unable to cook. Suppose everyone’s alibi gets confused with everyone else’s. An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed. Times and ticket information available here.

Crossville – Young Frankenstein– This electrifying adaptation of Mel Brooks’ monstrously funny film will leave you in stitches. Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. “It’s alive!” he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather’s. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. Young Frankenstein has all the panache of the screen sensation with a little extra theatrical flair added.
