Cookeville – WCTE PBS will broadcast and stream season three premiere of It’s Your Business with Michael Aikens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Season three is produced by WCTE PBS in partnership with the Tennessee Tech Center for Rural Innovation with funding provided by the Rural Reimagined Grand Challenge, supported in part by the state of Tennessee governor’s budget and the economic development administration university challenge.
Michael Aikens, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Tennessee Tech, visits with regional business leaders and entrepreneurs to continue to tell stories to discuss resources and strategies for businesses. The new season continues to focus on change-makers in our communities in their own voices, inspiring our rural communities and workforce throughout central Tennessee.

As a serial entrepreneur, Michael has leveraged his background in entrepreneurship, technology, marketing and research to provide leadership for the TN Tech rural economic development ecosystem and culture, complete projects allowing a variety of local and statewide businesses and government organizations to flourish and devise strategies to further regional and state-wide growth for numerous entities across the state.
