Unemployment rates in two-thirds of Tennessee’s counties declined
The unemployment number in the Upper Cumberland has grown slightly in October.
Warren County has a rate of 4.3. That number is up from 4.1% last month. Elsewhere, Cannon County sits at 3.4%, up from 3.3% in September, while Clay sits at 4.6%. Cumberland County sits at 4% and DeKalb County landed at 4.3%, down from 4.5%.
Fentress stands at 3.5% while Van Buren landed at 4.5%. Jackson County stands at 3.9%, down from 4.2% in September, and Macon County’s number stands at 3.1%. Overton is down to 3.4% from 3.5% in September while Putnam sits at a 3.5%. Smith landed at 3% and White County’s rate is 3.8%.
Pickett County sits at 3.6% unemployment in October.
