The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) will host a regional meeting to discuss Opportunity Zones (OZs) 2.0 tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the Upper Cumberland Development District in Cookeville.
“OZs are a community development tool established by Congress in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 designed to drive long-term capital to low-income communities. They provide a unique chance to transform communities, empower residents and create lasting economic resilience through collaborative investment strategies,” according to a release.
