NASHVILLE – Now Hiring Tennessee, a hiring campaign seeking workers for the highway construction industry, has announced its launch.
The central website, found at NowHiringTN.com, allows a job seeker to connect with multiple companies who perform various aspects in building and maintaining roads. The Tennessee Road Builders Association created the Now Hiring Tennessee website as a clearinghouse for job seekers interested in Tennessee highway worker positions.
Prominently displayed on the website is a “Work Connection Link” where anyone can indicate their interest to prospective employers in their geographical region.
“We are inviting Tennesseans seeking jobs to consider our industry,” said Kent Starwalt, executive vice president of the Tennessee Road Builders Association. “The highway construction and materials industries offer rewarding careers.”
In addition to NowHiringTN.com being a place where job seekers can connect with prospective employers, it also provides an overview of types of jobs included in the following categories: aggregate, sand and gravel, asphalt, bridge and concrete, grading and specialty.
Showcased are various job examples with many levels of experience. Wages are highlighted for work on state contract awards to provide the job seeker an understanding of earning potential.
Now Hiring Tennessee has published a new logo and branding. The logo illustrates a highway worker in orange and black colors reminiscent of caution signs used along highways. The adopted slogan is “Good Jobs. Great Pay.”
