UPPER CUMBERLAND – You can still get tickets to get your Beatles groove on this weekend in Cookeville. There’s also music, theater and ghosts galore. For a complete list of events statewide, visit tnvacation.com/calendar.

July 18

Cookeville – Dogwood Park’s Third Thursday concert series presents Ben Fuller live at the Dogwood amphitheater beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fuller plays regularly at Tootsies and other honky-tonks on Broadway in Nashville. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket.

Crossville – Downtown Crossville, Inc. presents its free summer concert series with Earl, Joe & Chet beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater, 29 Division Dr. Bring your chairs and blankets for a great evening of local music.

July 19-21

Red Boiling Springs – Get a taste of October spookiness this summer. Join paranormal investigators at the Overnight Ghost Hunt at the Thomas House Hotel Friday or Saturday night. The event includes lodging, a meal and guided tours of the property.

Cookeville – Summer Cinema at the Depot celebrates Christmas in July with Santa Claus Conquers the Martians at 8 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for this family friendly night at the Depot.

Cookeville – Enjoy the Smoky Nights Live at Char from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Cookeville – Hip Cookeville presents Forever Abbey Road: A Beatles Experience at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center from 7 – 10 p.m. More information here.

Crossville – Red, White & Tuna starring Smoke on the Mountain’s Jason Ross and Patty Payne. The denizens of Tuna, Texas are back in this sequel to mega-hit Greater Tuna. Take a hilarious ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Texas’ third smallest town with this side-splitting spoof of life in rural America. Crossville – Junie B. Jones, The Musical is A delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical (and not strictly-for-kids) musical. Crossville – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Israel’s favorite son.
