Full service real estate firm looks to offer clients every avenue to get their property sold

Cookeville – When property hits the market, the goal is to get as many eyes on it as possible. Just like everything else, the more window shoppers and eyeballs seeing the product, the more potential buyers.

The Real Estate Collective (REC) in Cookeville understands that better than anyone. That is why they have announced an expansion. Over the next week, they will launch an auction division to their already stacked list of services. The division will feature live auctions, online only auctions and simulcast auctions

REC Marketing Director Hali Howard told The Upper Cumberland Business Journal the firm lives by a simple motto.

“We believe in “people over profits” and try to live and serve our community by that motto,” said Howard .

They are wasting no time getting things started.

“We launch this week and we are so excited,” said Howard.

Mortgage rates have tripled since Christmas of last year. That sudden rise has caused the housing market to dip. Housing prices have continued to rise and new loan applications have seen a 41% decline year-over-year.

According to Howard, the REC saw a gap in the market and wanted to give their clients, “every possible avenue to get their property sold”. Howard says they see a light at the end of that tunnel and now was the time to give their sellers another option.

“We all know the market has been CRAZY the last several years,” said Howard. “We see it leveling out (which it should) and providing a more mild market. Sellers will still have plenty of equity and buyers will be able to purchase a home at an affordable price. This is good for everyone.”

Howard said the goal of the new division, and the company as a whole, is to provide another avenue for growth within the firm for both their clients and agents.

“We want to be able to serve our clients better,” admitted Howard.

Service is the name of the game.

“Our community is one of our main focuses,” said Howard. “We give and serve in so many different ways. Most of our agents were born and raised here and we are passionate about sharing this amazing place with our clients.”

The Upper Cumberland is growing. REC wants to grow with it.

“Development in our area has boomed and the avenues that these companies are acquiring property for growth and future developments vary,” said Howard. “We want to make sure our clients have plenty of opportunities to sell their property in various ways. We are so excited for this new adventure. Our team is ready to hit the ground running!”

REC is Located at 20 West Broad Street in Cookeville. For more information call 931-559-9500, e-mail info@theREcollective.com or visit therecollective.com.
