“We are grateful for the many organizations and individuals who continue working together…” – UCDD

(UCBJ) – The Upper Cumberland Relative Caregiver (UCRC) Program of the Upper Cumberland Development District recently held its 3rd Quarter Advisory Board Meeting.

According to a social media post by the organization, the meeting brought together “community partners, caregivers and advocates dedicated to supporting families across the region.”

The meeting raised questions of challenges caregivers face in the Upper Cumberland, including:

  • Celebrating adoptions and reunifications
  • discussing growing needs for caregiver support
  • housing assistance
  • childcare resources

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration in strengthening families and communities, according to the UCDD.

“We are grateful for the many organizations and individuals who continue working together to provide hope, stability, and support for relative caregivers and the children they serve.”
