Synergy Saturday community classes to benefit MOPS

COOKEVILLE – Synergy Mind & Body Studio in Cookeville will hold community classes Sunday, Aug. 7, and all proceeds will benefit the Cookeville Chapter of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).

During Synergy’s monthly community day, class attendees pay what they can, and 100 percent goes t a specified organization. On Aug. 7, registered yoga teacher Laura Burgin will teach community yoga at 2 p.m. and certified meditation teacher Petti Groth will lead a guided meditation class at 3:15 p.m.

MOPS, or Mothers of Preschoolers, connects moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own. The Cookeville chapter of MOPS meets every second Monday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Collegeside Church of Christ; all moms of preschoolers are welcome.
