Lowery brings extensive experience in health care leadership
Bradley Lowery (pictured above) has been named chief administrative officer of Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital (ASTH) in Sparta, according to the company. ASTH says Lowery brings extensive experience in health care leadership, positioning the hospital for continued growth and excellence.
Lowery most recently served as Administrator at Atmore Community Hospital in Alabama, where he oversaw comprehensive management and administrative functions for all hospital services and clinics. Before this role, he was the Director of Operations at Atmore Community Hospital, leading operational improvements across physician clinics and services.
His leadership was instrumental in enhancing the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality care to the local community, according to the company.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bradley to Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands,” said Neal Kelley, Regional Hospital President at Ascension Saint Thomas. “His experience in health care administration and his dedication to improving patient care will be instrumental in furthering the hospital’s mission to provide exceptional care to the Sparta community and beyond.”
Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital has served the community since 1929 and is a Joint Commission-accredited facility and part of the Saint Thomas Stroke Network.
“I am excited to be joining the Ascension Saint Thomas team to serve the Sparta community,” Lowery said. “Coming from another rural-based facility, I understand how important hospitals like Highlands are to not only patients, but the community as a whole. I am eager to build upon the good work that the medical staff and Ascension Saint Thomas have been able to achieve.”
