Knoxville – SmartBank recently announced a large charitable donation amounting to $50,000 in funding to charitable organizations throughout the company’s footprint across the Southeast. Focusing on worthy causes supporting food and shelter, the Bank donated to the following recipients: 

  • Chattanooga Area Food Bank – $10,000 
  • Habitat for Humanity Florida’s Bay Area – $10,000 
  • Habitat for Humanity Tuscaloosa – $5,000 
  • Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee – $10,000 
  • Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries (SMARM) – $10,000 
  • West Alabama Food Bank – $5,000

These checks can be used for the development and continuation of the great work that each charity does day in and day out.
