Hybrid, franchised, sushi-rock bar has televisions playing the best of the best of rock history
Very soon, Rock N’ Roll Sushi (RRS) the “original american-style sushi experience founded on great food and rock ‘n’ roll” will open its doors in Cookeville, according to the company. The restaurant will set up shop in the old CiCi’s Pizza location at 541 South Willow Avenue, but what is RRS?
The flagship location, a 100 square foot building inside the Mobile Mall, opened in 2010 in Mobile, Alabama, as a dream of owners Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark. Together, they have over 14 years of experience in the restaurant business. The hybrid, franchised, sushi-rock bar has televisions playing the best of the best of rock history. Dinner and a show, of sorts.

“Since day one, the most rewarding part of our work has been seeing guests fall in love with our amplified dining experience and become fans who return again and again,” according to a statement.
RRS now has more than 50 locations across the southeast and was named to the RestaurantBusinessOnline.com Future 50 list. No official remodeling or opening timeline has been announced.
