Company specializes in custom playgrounds

Recreational Concepts (RC), a Cookeville based company specializing in custom playgrounds, splash pads, pavilions and turf across Tennessee and Alabama will celebrate 12 years in business Tuesday July 9.

RC offers services ranging from planning & design, construction, retrofitting, purchasing contracts and the Playground for Life program. The Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the celebration.

“They are certified Inclusive Play specialists, offering opportunities to kids & adults of all abilities, approaching every project as personal and unique from start to finish,” said the Chamber.

The Chamber says founders Dan and Shelia Stewart are proud to call the Upper Cumberland home.

“They are celebrating their anniversary at one of their newest playgrounds at Hope Church in Algood. Come join us to see what the fun is all about,” said the Chamber.

The ribbon cutting will take place at the new Hope Church Playground at 205 West Wall St. in Algood. For more information call 931-303-0227, email or visit
