The money will be used for the student needs fund.

The Putnam Education Partnership Foundation (PEP) is a nonprofit organization that partners with the Putnam County School System. Their goal is to ensure children’s basic, social and safety needs are met so they can succeed in the classroom. PEP helps with food, school supplies and cleaning supplies that grants and federal funding can’t provide. Their widely known Backpack Program sends home backpacks of food each weekend to over 800 students with food insecurity in Putnam County.

Financial adviser Adam Cunningham chose this quarter’s charitable donation.

“I learned about PEP through a co-worker,” said Cunningham. “I was impressed by the work they’re doing and the number of children they reach. As a former Putnam County student, I saw firsthand the way food insecurity impacted some of my peers. Knowing this donation can make a positive impact in our community for the children that need it most is important to me.”
