Option Care Health has over 7,500 employees

Option Care Health, Inc., the nation’s largest independent provider of home and alternate site infusion services, will open a new infusion therapy center in Cookeville, according to a release by the Upper Cumberland Commercial (UCC). The facility, which UCC calls state of the art, will be 2,800 square feet of the 26,000 square-foot Hickory Center at 117 North Hickory Avenue in Cookeville.

“The Hickory Center, anchored by Cumberland Kidney Specialists and Fresenius Dialysis, continues to solidify its position as a premier health care hub in the region,” according to a release by UCC. This new addition underscores Cookeville’s growing reputation as an attractive destination for national health care providers.”

Craig Hughes, broker at UCC, says the expansion is a positive reflection on Middle Tennessee and the Upper Cumberland.

“The expansion into Cookeville by a multi-billion-dollar company like Option Care Health is a positive reflection on the evolving national perception of Middle Tennessee and especially Cookeville. National companies are starting to take notice of something we’ve known for a while: Tennessee is a great place to do business,” said Hughes.

Option Care Health has over 7,500 employees, including 4,500 clinicians. For more information, visit OptionCareHealth.com.
