Nonprofit private school that serves PreK through 6th grade
Anniston Academy, a nonprofit private school that serves PreK through 6th grade, recently celebrated its Grand Opening in Cookeville.
The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event.
“We loved celebrating the grand opening of Anniston Academy in Cookeville,” according to the Chamber.
AA has an approach described as a blend of Montessori principles, nature-based learning and embedded therapies.
“… To support both neurodivergent and typically developing students in a welcoming, inclusive setting,” according to the Chamber.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 15, AA will hold a community open house.
“Families are invited to tour the school, meet the team, and explore this unique educational model,” according to a release.
The open house will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
It will feature:
- bounce houses
- face painting
- hands-on activities
- classroom tours
- opportunities to learn more about enrollment
“It’s a great chance to see how Anniston Academy is shaping a new path for learning in the Upper Cumberland,” according to the Chamber.
