The County has filed suit against TN Health Facilities Commission of Middle TN, and Cedar Recovery LLC
As the debate rages on in the court system over whether a Methadone Clinic should be allowed at 1806 Burgess Falls Road in the County, the location where the clinic is set to be housed has lost one tenant but gained another.
931 Elite, the youth sports training facility, has hit the road and is no longer a tenant of the shared space location. Meanwhile, Pioneer Heating and Cooling (PHC), which offers heating, plumbing, electrical and many other services, is setting up shop in the building. According to reports, Cove Generators (CG), the only Power Pro Elite level Generac Installer in Middle Tennessee, also recently announced a merger with PHC.
Recently, Putnam County has continued its fight against against the proposed Methadone Clinic which started last year. According to Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter, the County has filed suit against TN Health Facilities Commission of Middle TN, and Cedar Recovery LLC concerning the establishment of the proposed Clinic in the county.
“The State of TN had filed a motion to dismiss the case or move the hearing to Davidson County. On July 18th, Chancellor Ron Thurman ruled in favor of Putnam County and stated, ‘the court finds that jurisdiction and proper venue for this action lies in Putnam County,’” according to Porter. “This is only the beginning for the case, and any future updates will be provided as they happen,” said Porter.
