First Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out is celebrating its 50th anniversary Aug. 17, but first the church will hold a ribbon cutting in celebration Aug. 8.
“Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of First Baptist Church’s Mother’s Day Out program,” according to the Chamber. “For 50 years, First Baptist Church MDO has been a cornerstone in our community, providing a safe and loving environment for infants through Pre-K children to learn, grow and play. Come celebrate with us and see how FBC continues to shape the future of our community’s children.”
For those unable to attend the ribbon cutting on the 8th, the party starts at 2 p.m. on the 17.
“If you can’t attend the ribbon cutting, come to their anniversary party on Aug. 17! This family friendly event is open to past and present teachers, students and families and will feature a bounce house, face painting, snow cones and snacks, and so much more,” according to the Chamber.
The ribbon cutting starts at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 and the anniversary party runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m August 17.
