Hiremath says he is passionate about serving his new home
Ascension Saint Thomas River Park (ASTRP) Hospital in McMinnville has appointed Chaitanya Hiremath, a visionary Silicon Valley entrepreneur and health care innovator, to the board of directors.
According to a release by ASTRP, the appointment “highlights the hospital’s dedication to fostering innovation and forward-thinking leadership in health care.”
“Hiremath, known for his impactful contributions in artificial intelligence and health care automation, brings a wealth of experience to the boar,” according to ASTRP. “As the founder of Healthpoint Ventures, a venture studio focused on improving operational efficiency and revenue cycle management in health care, Hiremath is committed to transforming the industry. His expertise will play a key role in advancing Ascension Saint Thomas River Park’s mission of delivering exceptional care to the community while embracing innovative solutions.”
Hiremath says he is passionate about serving his new home.

As the youngest member of the board, Hiremath’s appointment reflects the hospital’s commitment to incorporating diverse perspectives and modern strategies to address the challenges of today’s health care landscape, according to the hospital.
Hiremath has had roles in the tech and venture capital sectors with positions with Oculus, Unity and leading venture capital funds.
“His contributions extend beyond entrepreneurship to fostering community development and advancing regional health care systems,” according to the release.
Innovative and experienced, those are what will lead Hiremath to success, according to Dale Humphrey, CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas River Park.
“Chaitanya’s innovative mindset and experience in leveraging technology to solve complex challenges align perfectly with our vision for the future,” said Humphrey. “We are excited to welcome him to the board and look forward to his contributions.”
