MAT Industries will invest at least $9 million and create 30 new jobs

Global manufacturer of air compressors and brake tanks to invest nearly $10 million in West Tennessee

MAT Industries, LLC will expand its manufacturing operations in Jackson, Tennessee.

MAT Industries will invest at least $9 million and create 30 new jobs in Madison County. The project comprises the addition of multiple production lines and upon completion, will bring the company’s total headcount in Jackson to nearly 260 people.

“Our strong business climate and highly skilled workforce make Madison County the ideal location for MAT Industries to expand. I thank this company for its commitment to job creation, and I look forward to seeing the prosperity that follows today’s announcement,” said Gov. Bill Lee.

Since 2020, TNECD has supported 23 economic development projects in Madison County, resulting in nearly 1,700 job commitments and more than $1.2 billion in capital investment.
