The current building isn’t repairable anymore
Bar on the Green at Bell Acres (BTG) officials have announced the bar and grill located at 907 E. Broad Street in Cookeville isn’t closing as rumors persist, they are simply planning the transition to another location in the next 30 days.
“To cut down on rumors and hearsay…,” according to the company, “Bar on The Green was Founded on Love… so, it only seems fitting to end on love… With a heavy, yet a very full heart… We begin Our 30-day Countdown!”
The location’s last weekend will be the weekend of Valentine’s weekend, and the last official day of business will be Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
“Here’s to the ending and yet beginning of a Fabulous Journey…,” said the company.
BTG says the current building isn’t repairable anymore, but, no worries, the menu you know, and the love will remain. The company says the business isn’t for sale, as has been the rumor.
“Come see us on Dale Hollow Lake, Overton County, this summer and Be on the lookout for the Return of The BOG this fall to Putnam County,” according to the statement.
The current incarnation of BTG can be reached at 931-854-9994. For more information, visit baronthegreens.com. This is an ongoing story. Check back for updates.
