Defender’s Retreat is a nonprofit

Defenders Retreat, a 259-acre farm is dedicated to providing Veterans, First Responders, families and friends with a place to enjoy the great outdoors, recently held a ribbon cutting in Silver Point.

The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event.

“Defender’s Retreat is a nonprofit committed to supporting disabled Veterans and First Responders through its 501(c)(3) mission. Founder Mike Pierce and his dedicated team make you feel right at home at Defenders Retreat. Check them out today,” according to the Chamber

The retreat features hiking trails, pavilion rentals, luxury camping and live music events.
