Plans are in the works for the front patio, the side patio and a bench patio

According to a statement from Lazy Cow Creamery (LC), Cookeville’s only handcrafted ice cream shop, the Ice Cream Shop will soon rent out a newly enclosed patio area for private gatherings at its upcoming second location on Willow Avenue in Cookeville.

“It turns out that the city requires us to hide our giant walk-in freezer from view, and when we get lemons at Lazy Cow, we try to make lemonade (or lemon ice cream),” said LC in a statement.

The company decided to wall off the entire patio instead of the freezer

“… Making a beautiful, enclosed dining area that we plan to also rent out for private gatherings,” according to LC.

This is just the beginning, according to the company. Plans are in the works for the front patio, the side patio, and a bench patio for “the tree-lined area beyond the parking lot.”

“Lots more to share as we get closer to opening,” shared LC.

LC’s original shop is located at 500 South Walnut Avenue. For more information, email info@lazycowcreamery.com or visit lazycowcreamery.com.
