LaunchTN announces 2022 Summer Internship Program season

NASHVILLE – Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) announced the kick-off of their upcoming Summer Internship Program, created over 8 years ago to provide undergraduate and graduate students with paid opportunities at some of Tennessee’s high-growth startups and entrepreneur centers. To date, over 240 students participated and received valuable skills essential to success in today’s marketplace. The 12-14 week program will run from May – August 2022, giving interns access to mentors and advisors, professional development events, exposure to the TN entrepreneurial ecosystem and the opportunity to participate in the Summer Summit. Student applications open now until Feb. 15, 2021.

“A critical component of LaunchTN’s mission is to create a robust talent pipeline to fill existing and future needs of Tennessee companies,” shared Ashlin Smith, Network and Talent Manager at LaunchTN. “The Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and recent graduates students to gain insight into the entrepreneur ecosystem, connect with mentors and advisors and broaden their business skill sets, to prepare them for successful careers in the future.”

Applications are also now open through Jan. 9, 2022, to Tennessee startup companies and entrepreneur centers interested in hosting summer intern(s). This is a unique opportunity to receive high quality intern assistance to help in the growth of your companies while investing in the professional development and work experience of high-caliber students.

Each host company selected may receive a stipend for their intern, applicant screening and promotion of your company during the process. LaunchTN will announce the names of participating startups in early Spring 2022.
