The plant was evacuated
According to reports, a shooter that injured two workers, one in critical condition, at the Airport Drive Hutchinson plant in Livingston found dead near I-40 in Crossville. The Overton County Sheriff’s Department stated the suspect is either a current or former employee with the company.
The plant was evacuated, and two victims were taken to the hospital, before the suspect fled the area, and Interstate 40 was shut down in both directions.
Hutchinson has two plants in Livingston and designs and manufactures “solutions for a world on the move and contributes to future mobility on land, in the air and at sea,” according to its website. “Partnering our customers, Hutchinson offers expertise in a variety of areas to enable mobility that is safer, more comfortable and more sustainable, today and tomorrow.”
