Judah & The Lion announces headline tour

COOKEVILLE – Folk-hop band Judah & The Lion announced on Tuesday its spring headline tour. Titled “Going to Mars,” it will span eight states – and three Canadian providences – over the course of 25 days.

The group, headed by Cookeville-born Judah Akers, recently released its latest album “Folk Hop ‘N Roll,” and has been making rounds to promote its latest single, “Take It All Back,” a No. 1 hit on the Alt chart and a Top 10 single the Rock chart.

The tour kicks off March 18 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additional dates include Richmond, Virginia (March 19); Toronto, Ontario (March 21); Chicago, Illinois (March 23); St. Louis, Missouri (March 24); Kansas City, Missouri (March 25); Madison, Wisconsin (March 26); Omaha, Nebraska (March 28); Winnipeg, Mabatoba (March 30); Edmonton, AB (April 2); Boise, Idaho (April 9) and Denver, Colorado (April 11).

Ticket sales are underway.
