The tour highlights the work of local artists in their studios
The Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree & Craft Festival (Jamboree), renowned for its celebration of traditional Appalachian music and crafts, has announced a new partnership with the 25th annual Off the Beaten Path Art Tour (OTBPT) being held October 25-27.
The OTBPT highlights the work of local artists in their studios This year’s tour is the 25th annual event. The partnership will bring together the best of music, art and craftsmanship, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of DeKalb County, according to a release by the Jamboree.

“This collaboration aims to enhance the cultural vibrancy and artistic offerings of both events, creating a unique and enriching experience for attendees,” according to the release.
Kim Driver Luton, President of the Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree says the Jamboree is excited about the partnership.
“We are delighted to work with the O the Beaten Path Art Tour,” said Luton. “This partnership will not only enhance the artistic experience for our visitors but also support our local artists and musicians. Together, we aim to create a cultural hub that celebrates the diverse talents of our community.”
The Off the Beaten Path Art Tour is known for “its intimate and immersive art experiences, will feature special exhibits and interactive art installations on the upcoming Tour.” Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists, view and purchase their work.

Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree & Craft Festival is scheduled for July 4-5, 2025.
