Hoot to play Opry Feb. 4

COOKEVILLE – Reigning “The Voice” winner Jake Hoot announced today he will be playing the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Radio Hall of Famer Philip Gibbons of the Country Giant will be serving as an Opry guest announcer for Hoot’s segment that night. 

The Upper Cumberland will be well represented that evening as Dailey & Vincent featuring Gainesboro native Jamie Dailey and Smithville resident Darrin Vincent also takes the stage.    

Chris Janson, Michael Ray and Henry Cho will also be performing that night, with more performers to be announced.

The Opry on Feb. 4 will start at 7 p.m. Opry tickets are available at opryentertainmentgroup.com.

Tour the Upper Cumberland will be hosting the Hooter Express, a shuttle leaving Cookeville at 5:15 p.m. for Hoot fans that don’t want to drive to Nashville. For information and tickets on the shuttle, see their Facebook event page here.
