Home center hub celebrating its opening this weekend

COOKEVILLE – A home renovation center that will serve as a one-stop shop for those undergoing building or renovation projects is marking its grand opening in Cookeville this weekend.

HomeCORR, located at 601 Design Drive, Cookeville, will serve as a hub for local contractors, designers, project managers, landscapers, handymen, painters and more. Its focus will be kitchen, bath and home designs, with a variety of options for every budget.

That’s apparent, at least, in the business name. Owner and designer/contractor Adam Ryan said “CORR” plays on the “create or renovate” concept – its team can handle projects both big and small.

“What we really wanted to offer is a true one-stop shop, from designing to renovating,” Ryan said. “Someone can come to our showroom and buy a faucet or we could design a custom home and anything in between. I’ve heard it over the years, people want to remodel, but they don’t know where to start. We want to be the place they can come and get those questions answered.”

HomeCORR is still affiliated with the Home Expo Design Center, which Ryan and Tom Lee, owner of Kitchen & Bath Gallery, opened in the same building in 2013 after months of planning. Home Expo offers essentially the same concept; HomeCORR, Adam said, better highlights the local concept.

“We really started this process about two years ago, and it’s ultimately culminated in what’s now HomeCORR,” Ryan said. “We’re still locally owned and operated, (with) the same structure We feel people enjoy doing business with people they know that are local. We just want people to know we’re here and that our strong suit is being service oriented.”

HomeCORR’s grand opening will span more than a week’s time. The celebration kicks off with free lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, March 14, and runs until Saturday, March 22. For more information, call (931) 400-2190 or visit homecorr.com.
