Team is committed to keeping Putnam County healthy and strong

The Putnam County Health Department – Monterey (PCHDM) branch at 400 West Crawford Avenue, next to Standing Stone Health Care, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting last week.

The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event.

“To cap off the week, we celebrated the official grand opening of the Monterey branch of the Putnam County Health Department,” according to the Chamber.

The branch has been open since June.

The clinic have already served over 1,000 patients and provide essential services including:

  • immunizations
  • WIC
  • Family Planning
  • Primary Care
  • vital records

“They accept most private insurance, TennCare and Medicare, with fees based on family size and income,” according to the Chamber.

PCHDM is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 931-528-2531
