Celebrating its fourth spooky season, the “haunted town” has gained a reputation as one of the best haunts in Tennessee

It wasn’t that long ago that the public was first invited to Halloween Hollow (HH), the town built within the silver-lined boundaries of Silver Point because of “its abundance of silver and its geographic boundaries,” owners Erica McElroy and Carroll Moore told the Upper Cumberland Business Journal.

It was perfect for the story they wanted to tell.

“They help contain the ‘Fear Factions’ that dwell inside Halloween Hollow. These are ancient beings that originated Halloween, so we had to create a town for them to stay. That town is Halloween Hollow,” according to HH.

HH has seen some changes for 2025 to celebrate “four years of fear,” including:

  • Dark Raven, Video Slashback, Meltdown: Nuclear Nightmare and Dark Acres (Scary Corn Maze)
  • A Fear Zone: Big Top Meats: Streets of Slaughter
  • A Forture Teller: Madame Bastet: Feline Fortune Teller
  • 2 Monster Midways with a Ghost Lab Escape Game, Souviner Photos, Tiki Lounge, Crypt Shop, Photo Ops and Firepits
  • Not-so-Scary Corn Maze for those looking for less fright in their night
  • Live Entertainment

HH recently held a ribbon-cutting to celebrate four years of serving up scares.

The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) was on hand for the event.

“We celebrated the grand opening of Halloween Hallow Haunted House …,” according to the Chamber. “This place has it all with four haunted experiences, a fear zone, fortune teller, monster midways, games, live entertainment, and even a not so scary corn maze if you prefer something a little lighter. They will be open every Friday and Saturday until Halloween, so grab your friends and go get spooked.

Located at 14400 Old Baxter Rd in Silver Point, HH is open Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. They will also be open Halloween night.

Tickets can be bought online or at the door.
