COOKEVILLE – Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee will celebrate Goodwill Week by hosting more than 70 events in May, including approximately 50 job fairs at its 26 area career solutions centers, including three in Cookeville starting Monday, May 5.
The center will host its first job fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, May 5, for Staffing Solutions. The company is looking to fill several positions in Putnam, White, Overton and Van Buren counties. Openings include assembly, manufacturing, machinists and welders.
The second job fair is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, for Abacus. The company is looking to fill 50 positions in Wilson County. Openings include everything from general warehouse to computer technicians.
A third job fair will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 9, for Wise Staffing. The company is looking to fill several positions in Putnam and White counties. Openings include everything from production to clerical positions.
All events will be held at the Goodwill Career Solutions center, 565-C S. Jefferson Ave., Cookeville
Representatives from these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so dress accordingly. Job candidates are encouraged to bring resumes, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
