More than 50 positions to be available during Goodwill-hosted hiring event
COOKEVILLE – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565 S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, for seven employers seeking to fill more than 50 positions in Putnam, White and surrounding counties.
Employers include Perdue Farms, Servpro, Addus Homecare, At Work Staffing, Quality Private Duty Care, New Hope Healthcare and Goodwill. Openings include homemaker, home care aide, crew chief, warehouse assembly, injection molding, die-cast, paint inspections, meat cutter, machine operator, retail associates and other positions. Rates of pay reach $15 per hour.
Job fair participants should wear a face covering and be prepared to practice social distancing. Interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success, bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
