Goodwill to host job fair for 11 employers, 300 jobs available

COOKEVILLE – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565-C S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair 1 – 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, for 11 employers seeking to fill more than 300 positions in Putnam and surrounding counties.

Employers include Aphena Pharma Solutions, Altium Packaging, Home Instead, Purdue Farms, Jackson Kayak, Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, @Work Staffing, Resource MFG, Addus Home Care and Goodwill. 

Production technicians, machine operators, caregiver, general production, HR assistant, supervisor, LPN, oven operator, small parts assembly, material handler, fork lift operator, housekeeper, food service aid, and home care aid. Rates of pay reach $16 per hour.

Job fair participants should wear a face covering and be prepared to practice social distancing. Interviews are possible, so job seekers should dress for success, bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
