All brickwork, roofing, framing, electrical and plumbing is complete

Fentress County – The new Fentress County Agriculture Pavillion is to open in the next couple of months, according to reports. In November 2020, Fentress County Commissioners voted to approve the purchase of 15 acres along South York Highway.

On September 22, 2021, the Pavillion Broke Ground. During construction, the roofing was damaged in transport and replaced, pausing construction, but eventually, the roofing work was complete.

All brickwork, framing, electrical, and plumbing are also complete. When open, the building will hold the UT Extension, office space, a community room and a teaching kitchen.

No official opening date has been announced.

This is an ongoing story. Check back for updates.
