Dr. Baron Herford joins Cookeville Regional Medical Center staff as hospitalist

Cookeville–Baron Herford, D.O., has joined the staff at Cookeville Regional Medical Center as a new member of the hospitalist team. He will be specializing in and focusing solely on taking care of patients in the hospital.

Dr. Herford received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Ky. in 2008. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Herford comes to Cookeville from Jackson where he had served as a hospitalist at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for the last three years. Previously he had a private practice in internal medicine in Corinth, Miss. He is happy to be in Cookeville with his wife and two children.
