Dogwood Exchange hosting “Homesteads Artisan Festival” in October

The Dogwood Exchange is thrilled to be presenting the “Homesteads Artisan Festival” on Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23.  The event takes place at 4950 Highway 127 South (just past Cumberland Mountain State Park). 

There will be 30 talented artisan vendors, great food and live music. The event is set on 12 beautiful acres with a fully renovated 1935 Homestead house as the backdrop. Hours are Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Pot Food Truck will be in attendance on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Dale Hollow Tacos in attendance on Sat. and Sun.  Memory Road will perform Saturday. Three day entry fee is $5. Parking will be plentiful.

Artisans include SassyFrass, Cumberland Woodturners, You Jungle, Altered Life Photography, Grace Hill Farms, Chainsaw Carver on the Plateau, Saffron Herb Co., Golden Mountain Crafts & Designs, TLC Designs, Caoyu Studio, Nat Carpentry, Organic Baklava, RJ Squared Creations, Papa’s Pot Shop, Bag Lady Lenore and Wolfcreek Farms, along with others.

The festival is sponsored by ANew You, LLC, Silvara Stone Company, Best One Tire, Poppies Florist and the Cumberland County Playhouse.
