Local Leaders, Economic Partners to Attend June 15 Event Featuring Demo, Tours
On June 15, Valinor Enterprises will host an open house at 1781 Brown’s Mill Road in Cookeville featuring officials and business leaders, spotlighting its new Dispatch facility in the city. The event, coordinated by Highlands Economic Partnership, will include live technology demonstrations and a facility tour beginning at 4 p.m.
The company focuses on defense and government technology development, including acquiring and building systems for military and government applications.
“… The evening will include remarks from company leadership, a live demonstration of Dispatch technology and a facility tour,” according to the release.
The Cookeville facility is centered on Valinor Dispatch, a modular charging station system designed for autonomous platforms. The gathering is being positioned as an opportunity to showcase the company’s growing presence in the Upper Cumberland and its autonomous systems infrastructure technology.
Julie Bush, co-founder and CEO of Valinor Enterprises, and Nick Leak, general manager of Valinor Dispatch, are scheduled to speak.
“Dispatch is Valinor’s modular charging station for autonomous systems,” the release stated. “Manufactured in Cookeville, Tennessee, Dispatch allows unmanned aerial systems to launch, recharge and operate continuously in the field without manual intervention, enabling persistent operations across ground, maritime and fixed-site environments.”
Valinor Enterprises was founded in 2024 and is backed by investors including General Catalyst and Founders Fund.
“It’s no longer enough to focus only on building the best, most innovative products. We need bold reinvention and diversity in the business models that deliver products to our warfighters and civil servants,” said Bush.
