CROSSVILLE – The Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a City Council/Mayoral Candidate Forum at the Cumberland County Playhouse-Mainstage on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. The Forum is being provided as a public service event and anyone wishing to attend may do so. There will be no charge and seating is first come, first served.
The format for the Forum is still in the development stage, but each candidate will be provided time at the beginning to introduce themselves and make a few opening comments along with time at the end for closing comments. Since there are a total of eight candidates who are running for City Council seats, the candidates’ responses to questions will be required to be brief and will be timed.
