MCMINNVILLE – There are 17 residents and nine employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 at the NHC HealthCare of McMinnville, according to information released on the NHC website.
One additional employee is under investigation pending test results.
NHC closed its doors to visitors in mid-March. Then, when Gov. Bill Lee first suggested testing long-term care patients, NHC CEO Steve Flatt volunteered NHC to be among the first to test all residents and employees.
In a statement on the NHC website, NHC said, “We would like to recognize our incredible partners (employees) for providing excellent care and compassion to our patients and each other during these unprecedented times. Thank you to our families and community members for your kind words and outpouring of support to our patients and our partners. We appreciate you!”
