COOKEVILLE – Tennessee State Rep. Ryan Williams just announced that in a conference call with members of the General Assembly, Gov. Bill Lee clarified that he will announce guidelines tomorrow to allow beauty salons, barbershops, massage therapists and nail technicians to reopen on Wednesday, May 6.

Executive Order 30, issued on April 28, had ordered that many personal care businesses, such as barber salons, hair salons, nail salons, massage therapy and others, remain closed possibly until May 29.

Lee clarified to members of the Legislature that Executive Orders have to be extended, but they can be revised prior to that date. Details of the reopening process will be released on Thursday.
