Cookeville – Putnam County foodies are in for a real treat this weekend. A pilot program between Sam’s Club and World Food Championships will feature free custom recipes and food sampling developed by Food Champion Sunny Moody Lynn, a World Food Champion who has been seen on numerous Food Network shows.

Introduced as “Chef Creations,” the sampling program is a new experience that will last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for three days – Thursday Jan. 19 through Saturday Jan. 21 – at the Sam’s Club located at 1177 Sams Street in Cookeville. From chicken bacon ranch flatbread to grilled chicken pesto pasta, each of the recipes were developed with Member’s Mark products and customized for ease of prep and serving by the award-winning food competitor.

“Sunny is a super star in the food competition industry,” said Mike McCloud, whose Cookeville-based company MMA Creative is managing the program. “She and many of our other super chefs are going to bring their expertise and cooking insights into Sam’s Clubs across the nation to help members prepare tasty and easy recipes at home. We’re excited to be kicking it off this weekend in our hometown Sam’s Club.”
