Event provided glimpse into the progress and future plans of communities

Putnam County – More than 100 community members gathered at Leslie Towne Center to hear from representatives of Putnam County cities at the Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce’s Signature Luncheon: State of the Cities.

Speakers featured were Algood Mayor Lisa Chapman-Fowler, Baxter Mayor John Martin, Cookeville Mayor Laurin Wheaton and Monterey Cultural Administrator Rafferty Cleary.

“Each speaker provided valuable insights into their respective cities,” said the Chamber. “This event provided an insightful glimpse into the progress and future plans of our communities. The Chamber extends a special thanks to their Presenting Sponsor, Home Caregivers, for their crucial support in ensuring the success of this event.”

The next signature Luncheon, titled ‘State of the County,’ will be held November 7 and the community will hear from County Mayor Randy Porter and other elected county officials.
