Total operating expenses for the hospital in FY 2025 are expected to be $425,952,205
Th Cookeville City Council voted unanimously on first reading Thursday evening to approve the proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) budget.
The hospital’s budget showed a projected total operating revenue of $450,368,630. That number is up from last years projected revenue which was $402,166,888. The budgeted variance is $48,202,743,12% of expected 2024 ending revenues.
Total operating expenses in 2025 are expected to be $425,952,205 (also an expected 12% increase on expected 2024 ending number) with a net income of $7,509,654.
For capital projects (totaling $37,926,035) in FY 2025 include $7,117,815 for “department capital,” $16,337,549 for “contingency” and $14,470,671 for expansion and innovation including replacement of ICU beds and the 4 and 5 West renovation projects that combine for almost $9M.
As a city owned entity, CRMC’s budget must be approved by the Cookeville City Council.
