Cookeville Chamber to host two new events this fall

COOKEVILLE – The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce has created two events for the upcoming fall. The first, a golf tournament, will take place at Golden Eagle Golf Club on Friday, Sept. 4 and is open to both members and non-members. The tournament will feature a four-person team shotgun start, at both 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost of a team is $450 and lunch will be provided. 

In addition to the golf tournament, the Chamber has created a Clay Shoot Tournament, taking place on Friday, Oct. 23 at the Crossville Shooting Sports Complex. The tournament will feature two start times, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tournament is team play. Each four-person team will be responsible for bringing their own shotgun, ammo, ear and eye protection. The cost of a team is $400. 

Social distancing will be adhered to and masks are encouraged at all Chamber events.
