New signage reflects Baxter’s unique identity and creates a warm, welcoming gateway
The City of Baxter recently revealed its welcome signs. The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event.
“Today we celebrated the grand reveal of Baxter’s new welcome signs,” according to a statement by the Chamber.
The project was completed for Tennessee Downtowns, an affiliate program of Tennessee Main Street.

“The new signage reflects Baxter’s unique identity and creates a warm, welcoming gateway for residents, visitors and businesses,” according to the Chamber.
City officials say it is a step forward.
“This project marks an exciting step forward for the Baxter community and its continued downtown revitalization efforts,” according to the Chamber. “Huge congratulations to everyone who worked hard to bring Baxter’s new welcome signs to life!”
