Unemployment’s rates are up slightly in most of the Upper Cumberland.

Upper Cumberland – Unemployment’s rates are up in most of the Upper Cumberland.

Warren County has a rate of 3.3. That number is up from 3% last month.

Elsewhere in the Upper Cumberland, Cannon County sits at 2.6, up from 2.5% in April, while Clay dropped from 4.1% to 3.9% in May. Cumberland County sits at 3.4 and DeKalb County landed at 3.5%.

Fentress rose to 3.1% from 2.9% a month ago while Van Buren landed at 3.6%. Jackson County stands at 3.3%, up from 3.2% in April, and Macon County’s number stands at 2.5%. Overton lifted slightly from 2.5% to 2.6% while Putnam sits at a 3%. Smith landed at 2.6% and White County landed at 3%.
