Samples will be given across city
Cookeville – What is Valentine’s Day without chocolate? This Feb. Cookeville businesses are joining Jamie’s Eat’s and Sweets (JES) in celebrating with the inaugural Cookeville Chocolate Festival.
The event will be held Feb. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“This Festival will be a great time to enjoy what our community has to offer and enjoy some great chocolate,” JES owner Jamie Lankford said. “Those who make it to all the participating businesses can bring their map back to Jamie’s Eats & Sweets to be entered into a drawing for a Valentine’s Day themed gift basket.”
Anyone that wants to participate can purchase a map for $5 at JES. College students pay $2.
The goal is to visit all the businesses on the map and sample everything you can. According to Lankford, businesses may have specials or discounts during the festival.
